Viceroy of Min Zhe

The Viceroy of MinZhe (閩浙总督), fully referred to as the Governor General of the Fujian , Taiwan , Zhejiang Provinces and surrounding areas; Overseeing Military Affairs, Food Production; Manager of Waterways; Director of Civil Affairs (總督台灣福建浙江等處地方,提督軍務、糧餉、管理河道兼巡撫事), was one of eight viceroys of the qing dynasty in China. The Viceroy had jurisdiction over the provinces of Fujian , Taiwan and Zhejiang . Because Fujian and Taiwan were once the combined province of Fujian (South of the Jiangsu ), the province was known, Chinese historians have a viewpoint often: "The Quanzhou was the most important port in China before middle 19th century Shanghai raised so arrested pirates was main task by Viceroy of Min Zhe".
