Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport is scheduled to be constructed to serve the city of Qingdao in Shandong Province, China. The airport received approval in December 2013.[2] It will be located in Jiaodong, Jiaozhou, 39 kilometres (24 mi) from the center of Qingdao.


The airport will have two runways, which are 3,600 and 3,200 meters long, respectively (class 4F). It will have a 450,000 square metres (4,800,000 sq ft) terminal building.
