Ulanqab (Wulanchabu) Airport (Chinese: 乌兰察布机场) is scheduled to be constructed to serve the city of Ulanqab in Inner Mongolia , China. The airport received approval from the State Council of China and the Central Military Commission on 31 July 2013
The airport will have a 2,600-meter runway (class 4C) and a 3,000-square-meter terminal building. It is projected to handle 300,000 passengers and 900 tons of cargo annually by 2020.
