Shandong Airlines Co,.Ltd. (Chinese: 山东航空; pinyin: Shāndōng Háng Kōng, nicknamed SDA or 山航 Shānháng) is an airline based in the Shandong Airlines Centre (山东航空大厦 Shāndōng Hángkōng Dàshà) in Jinan, Shandong , China, operating mainly domestic trunk routes from Jinan, Qingdao and Yantai to major cities in China. It is owned by Air China and holds a 10 percent stake in Sichuan Airlines.

Shandong Airlines was established in 12 March 1994 and started operations in September of the same year. In September 1997 it jointly founded the Xinxing Aviation Alliance along with five of China's provincial airlines

Shandong Aviation Group Co., Ltd. is a conglomerate specialized in air transport and related industries. Created by investment from 10 shareholders including Air China Limited and the Economic Development and Investment Corporation of Shandong Province, it was established on the 12th March 1994 under the authorization of the State General Administration of Civil Administration and the Shandong Provincial Committee and Government. The company is headquartered in Jinan.

In recent years Shandong Aviation Group has actively responded to competition and challenges in the market, accelerating the pace of structural readjustment and actively implementing internal reforms. Particularly since achieving strategic cooperation with Air China, its profit levels have gradually increased, and it has attained its seventh successive profitable year since 2006.

The Shandong Aviation Group of today is led by a scientific concept of development. It insists on developing and expanding its corporate spirit, and continually reinforces the competitive advantages of its core business. It will strive to achieve leapfrog development by creating a 'peaceful and harmonious Shandong Airlines'.
