Daocheng Yading Airport (IATA: DCY, ICAO: ZUDC) is an airport under construction in Daocheng County in Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Sichuan Province, China. The site is located in Sangdui Township, 50 kilometers north of the county seat and 130 kilometers from Yading scenic area. Construction started in late 2011 and the airport is expected to open in 2013
At 4,410 m (14,469 ft) above sea level, Daocheng Yading Airport will be higher than Qamdo Bangda Airport, the world's current highest airport (elevation 4,334 m (14,219 ft)), but lower than the proposed Nagqu Dagring Airport in Tibet Autonomous Region at 4,436 m (14,554 ft).
